SUPPLY LIST:
- Paper Plate*
- Scissors
- Markers*
- Tape (we’re using duct tape)*
- Yarn/String/Fiber/Ribbon*
- Stapler
- Also Helpful: Hole Punch

How to Create a Yarn Rainbow Wall Hanging

  1. Prep your paper plate by cutting it in half

  2. Draw your rainbow design onto the back of each plate half
    (or if you know you’ll only see one side, you can decorate a single half)

  3. Take a tape strip and secure it tabletop with the sticky side up

  4. Secure your yarn strands to the tape to create your fringe pattern

  5. Fold the tape over to hold all your strands in place

  6. Sandwich your tape in between your two plate halves and staple to secure

  7. Use a hole punch at the top of your plate and use a yarn strand to create a hanging loop

    (You can also staple your tape to a single plate half (an undecorated one) and then tape your decorated plate over it to create a more clean front with no staples showing)
